I am employed in a full time T&S (Teaching and Scholarship) position since March 2021, which means that i have much less time to dedicate to research. I am however still keeping myself updated with progress in my research area, and I’m happy to undertake projects.
My general research interests lie in finite group theory, in particular modular representation theory and global-local conjectures. I work on a variety of topics such as blocks of finite group algebras and their equivalences and invariants, fusion systems and Picard groups of blocks.
I am also interested in category theory and graph theory.
My PhD project at the University of Manchester under the supervision of Dr. Charles Eaton has been about Morita equivalences of blocks of finite groups. In particular, I have classified blocks with an elementary abelian defect group of size 32 or 64, up to Morita or derived equivalence.
The full video of a talk in which I gave a good summary of (the main part of) my PhD project is available on the Isaac Newton Institute website.
I upload some data about blocks on the Block library Wiki.
All the documents below are updated versions of my papers and theses. Whenever these differ from the officially available versions, it means that mistakes were found and fixed.
However, due to copyright restrictions, in some cases papers will appear in their preprint/accepted version (this means that the definitive version will be the one available in the journal). Should mistakes be found in a published paper, I will still update the pdf on this website, and specify that there is a new version of the “preprint” (hopefully, this will never be necessary).
